BIO

Adam Jacobson (He/They) is a young creative and performer born in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Music Theatre, he is out in the world to create new and engaging art that attempts to make audiences rethink their relationship to storytelling.

Adam has been performing since the time he was eight in local community theaters, including Golden Performing Arts Center in Woodland Hills, CA. Between community and school theater, he has done over 30 shows as well as designed or assisted numerous other projects throughout his educational career.

While most of their experience is in the Music Theatre canon, the most meaningful and inspiring shows he has been a part of work to present performance as a form of social action. Shows he's performed in such as Greensboro: a Requiem, 1984, and Rent taught him the meaning of 'call-to-action.' Now he looks to find like-minded artists that can collaborate to create works that go beyond just sending a message out.

UCI NEW YORK SATELITE PROGRAM (Spring 2022)

A one-month program where students study dance, acting, and singing for Musical theater in the epicenter of the industry, New York City. Students learn to navigate the city and gain insider information from leading actors, casting directors, and professionals on Broadway, including UCI alumni.
